Not hardly anything like the sims and filled with bugs 99% of them reported. I've heard from everyone that did that it's terrible. Actually, to tell the truth I never tried it.
If you are new to the sims dont get this. I do once in a while play it, it's only $35 so it's worth a try. Well you can't really say it's graphics are too bad, because you've got to remember this is a game that's now with the sims 2 out supposed to pretty much bring back memories. Makin magic was definately the most confusing with all of its secret spells and magic coins.
BUT the expansions add something new to do.
In the sims, because the kids never age, and the adults never get too old, it's kin da like a survival game. The sims has a completly different objective. It has some draw backs, like im the sims 2 (like my favorite game) your sims age and can actually have babies. That gets boring very fast.Īnyway, the complete collection is a very much cheaper way (it's only $35 at best buy i'm pretty sure) to get the full sims series. I'm not really saying it's a great game for kids, because the easiest fun thing to do is kill your sims and that's really all a lot of people do. I'm actually quite surprized that it was rated T, for it really doesn't include very much adult content. Rather than simply cause havoc and toy with their little test subjects.I loved the sims and I bought mine and a few expansion packs back in 2003. It takes the rather arbitrary goal system of old and gives players a motivation to actually go after them. Each character has an overarching life goal, whether that is a career, a family or whatever you choose it to be. This coupled with the aspiration system that is incorporated into every character that you build for your world really adds a sense of belonging in this virtual life. Meaning that the gameplay isn't as adult heavy and seems more realistic. This adds more depth to the original concept for children and they are also available in bigger numbers. These characters will have responsibilities much like the adults such as school, chores and social life. The game also adds more focus to children and adolescents. Whether that's a character in your own image or a role-play as someone completely different. Allowing you to make your character exactly how you want them to be. Giving players the ability to customise their facial structure, style and personality more than ever before. Character creation has also been added to.
